1 Brand new microwave doesn't work

Took it out of the box today and it won't work. Doesn't get food warm. Turntable won't turn. Buttons aren't working properly. Extremely disappointed.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

3 Compact

Great microwave, the directions book does not provide details about the extra plates that come with it. Also first time I used it for baked potatoes the glass plate cracked in half. Now I’m trying to figure out how to replace it. I’d love the company to contact me from this review.

3 Great functions but... loud.

Got this Convection/Microwave to replace a 15 year old model from a different manufacturer that was almost twice as large inside as this one. We got this on a loyalty rewards site so didn't get to try it out or research much. We basically went for it because it was "on sale", was smaller, and had the convection option. The first thing to like is that the oven comes with some accessories to help you utilize the grill and convection options. The downside is that the manual included with the oven does not tell you how to use those functions. For that you need to go to the Samsung site and download an expanded manual that explains the functions quite well. Another nice feature is that the door swings down and does not require the pressing of some latch or big button to open it. Conversely, this oven does not have a keypad so one must enter their times using the dial. This is not much of an issue when talking about shorter times, but if you need more than a few mins (for grill or convection modes for example) it can be inconvenient to have to keep turning that dial over and over. The biggest drawback, by far, (which would have led me to return the oven outright if it wasn't for being a loyalty reward) is that the magnetron is incredibly loud. The fan is no louder than any microwave I've heard, but when the microwaves are being generated, the oven becomes intrusively loud. The other drawback relates to the number of pre-programmed profiles for reheat and cook. There is a quick reference label on the oven when you open the door and a much better explanation with tables in the expanded manual available for download, but not nearly as convenience as sensor reheating or sensor cooking. Bottom line I guess is that if this convection/microwave oven wasn't so loud and had sensor functions I'd be in love with it, but sadly, if I could give it back and get a quieter oven, I'd do so in a heartbeat.

2 Regular microwave

I bought this to replace my 25 yr old microwave & a 10yr old toaster ovn , My new microwave works as well as my old BUT the Oven is C***, my old toaster oven was better & bought from can. tire for 49$, the convection oven cannot cook hotdogs (unless in 1hr) the grill feature can't do garlic bread, etc. etc. not worth the $$$.$$

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
